Best Baits. Banned Baits. UNDER CONSTRUCTION

There is no doubt some baits are more consistent carp catchers than others at East Delph Lakes.


From the early days it became apparwent he carp prefer boilies  


Regarding bait bans, we hightly aware that the carp main nutritional source is from anglers baits and want our fish grow well and live long,healthy lives. 



Fishery Pellets

Fishery pellets have a lot going for them. 

Other pellets work as well. Explain what makes a good pellet

Exsplain about captive fish and diet. 


Boilies

East Delph Lakes has long been seen as a boilie water. Week after week boilies seem to catch more and bigger carp than other baits. 

List boilies with good form


Live baits

Maggots, casters and worms are permitted between 1st Decemeber and 1st March. 


The total amount is limited to one pint per angler per 24-hours. 


All other forms of live baits are banned. 


Please check with fishery management if you're unsure. 

Particals

Hemp and sweetcorn are permitted at the fishery in moderation.

Banned Baits Summary

  • No artifical baits.
  • Any type of whole nut (peanut or tiger nut for example), that includes crushed or chopped nuts. Nut based boilie mixs permitted. 
  • No bread.
  • Any type of floating loose feed
