East Delph Lakes is a wonderfully secure and private fishery. Surrounded by a deep land drain that acts like a moat, the only entrance point is through a permanently locked high security car park gate.
Sessions start at 1pm.
It's not possible to get early access. Start times are strictly kept, so anglers on-site can enjoy their entire session undisturbed.
Access to fishery is via a long single lane farm track. Please do not drive down track before 12.40pm (as you’ll be blocking anglers trying to leave).
Recommended meeting point is at the Rock 'N' Rolla, a fantastic food van in the Ivy Leaf Clubs large car park PE7 1AP. It's a two minute drive from fishery and big groups are welcome.
If you can't make the 1pm start, no problem, but please inform fishery managent of arrival time to save waiting at the locked gate for access.
Gates close 5pm in summer or an hour before dusk in winter.
After gates close there is no access until 9am the following morning.
The only people allowed onto the fishery are those booked for the day and the fishery management. You're guaranteed to enjoy your fishing in a private, secure environment.
At 1pm sharp the gates will opened by a fishery manager and you'll be welcomed with a quick briefing.
After walking about your lake, the fishery manager will help organise swim selections. This is mostly sorted by civilised discussion, but on occasion a draw for swims is preferred. If you book with a friend, 95% of the time you will be able to fish next to each other.
Booking online a 50% deposit was paid, the balance is due on arrival either by cash or PayPal. There is no card machine.
Fishery boilies and pellets will be available to buy on arrival.
When leaving please make sure you're out the gate by 12.30pm. Apologies for the loss of half an hours fishing time. Having different arrival and departure times is the only way to manage access on the long single lane farm track.
