Front Lake
Since 2014, the Front Lake has been extensively restocked from some of the UK's most highly-regarded fish farms and growth rates have exceeded all expectations.
At least four fish have broken the 30lb barrier, with a very healthy stock of 20lb plus carp. Total stock is estimated at about 185 carp.
However, the size of the fish is really immaterial, as being hand-picked, they are all truly stunning. The Front Lake is well known for it's exceptionally beautiful carp.
To back-up these beauties, the Front Lake also boasts a number of 'originals', with at least two that have broken the 30lb barrier.
The Front Lake is secure, very private and surrounded by beautifully mature trees. A deep, wide ditch on the far side of a high embankment around the lake, meaning you see no one else apart from anglers and fishery staff during your visit.
The fishery only allows those booked for the day on the site. On a lake exclusive booking you'll only see the anglers in your group on the bank.
Fractionally under two-acres, the Front Lake has two islands and nine swims, covering three banks. This leaves a bank with no swims, where the carp love to patrol.
To avoid for any sense of overcrowding, this lake operates a strict six-angler limit.
The 'Big Social' swim can comfortably accommodate three anglers with its picnic bench and BBQ - making it perfect for carp-fishing get-togethers.
Opportunities to fish next to a friend can be found on the other banks.
Additionally, some single swims offer the lone angler peace and quiet.
